Introduction

What is UPVC Pipe?

UPVC stands for Unplasticized Polyvinyl Chloride and is also known as rigid PVC. The term Unplasticized means no additional plasticizing polymers are used in the UPVC making process and hence is the strongest form of PVC. Even though PVC pipes for agriculture, and drainage are also technically UPVC however normally in India UPVC pipes refer to the plumbing pipes commonly used for transportation of cold water for residential, commercial and industrial applications. These pipes are white in color.
