CPVC PLUG:
CPVC Plugs also known as end plugs are used to terminate the flow of the fluids in the fittings. CPVC plugs are similar to the caps, the difference being that the caps are used to terminate the flow in the pipes instead of the fittings.
Plugs are attached to the fittings and have threaded ends so that they can be easily removed anytime when the connection has to be extended. That is why solvent cements are not used in this case.
CPVC FLANGES :
CPVC flanges are rim like structures with multiple slots for the bolts so that they can be joined with the flanges of other pipes or fixtures. Two flanges require a rubber gasket between them which seals the joint and make leaktight. CPVC flanges and fittings provide extra strength to the joints between two pipes and are used more frequently in pipes having larger diameters like industrial pipes, etc.
Flanges are available from 1” (25mm), 1 ¼”(32mm), 1 ½”(40mm), 2” (50mm),
2 ½”(75mm), 3” (90mm), 4” (110mm), 6” (160mm)
CPVC CLAMPS :
CPVC pipe clamps are used to provide stability to the plumbing networks by attaching pipes with the walls, suspending them from ceilings or joining them with any solid support surface. Clamps fix the pipes in place which increases the stability of the plumbing systems and results in its better functioning. Smaller clamps are available in both plastic and metal while the bigger clamps are available in powder coated metal.
Clamps are available from ½” (15mm), ¾”(20mm), 1” (25mm), 1 ¼”(32mm), 1 ½”(40mm), 2” (50mm),
2 ½”(75mm), 3” (90mm), 4” (110mm), 6” (160mm)
CPVC CROSS:
CPVC CROSS are like 4 way Tee that are capable of joining four pipes at once having either same or different diameters. In plumbing the cross connection forms one inlet and three outlets thus dividing the flow into 3 branches. All the pipes in a CPVC cross are connected at right angles to each other using solvent cements.
CPVC cross fittings are the find very little applications in the plumbing systems.
Cross are available from ½” (15mm), ¾”(20mm), 1” (25mm)
CPVC BUSH or CPVC Reducing Bush:
CPVC bush are plain bearings mainly used to reduce the size of any side of a plain CPVC fitting to any required lower size. Bushing has two sides, one male part that goes inside a female part of a fitting and second is the female part where the pipe gets attached.
Bushings provide immense flexibility to plumbers to work with any size combinations with any fitting.Bushings are available in sizes ½” upto 6” with all combinations of smaller sizes.
