Improper Design

In most cases a single pipeline may supply to multiple bathrooms. If the pipeline size is inadequate i.e. more number of units are connected to the pipeline and all operate simultaneously, fall in pressure shall be encountered.

Similarly inside the bathroom if the mainline and distribution lines are not sized properly, operating more than one tap simultaneously will result in pressure drop.

Sometimes, changes in the city’s water supply can affect the water pressure of your building. For example, if a local government adds new connections to existing capacity, the change can naturally sap your water supply and pressure in the process.
