Ajay Pipes warrants to the original owner that its products will be free from manufacturing defects and will conform to applicable Indian and ASTM standards under normal use. The buyer’s sole remedy under this warranty is limited to the replacement of the defective product. This warranty excludes any expenses related to removal, reinstallation, or any incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

The extended warranty shall apply only if the products are installed strictly in accordance with the installation instructions provided in Ajay Pipes’ catalogues and manuals.

Applicable Extended Warranty Period: 10 years from the date of manufacture.

 TERMS OF EXTENDED LIMITED WARRANTY

1. Definitions
   • Company: Ajay Industrial Corporation Limited, including its depots and offices across India.
   • Authorized Dealer: A dealer authorized by the Company to sell its products.
   • Customer: A person or entity in possession of a valid invoice or bill for the product.
   • Retailer: A person, company, or firm authorized to sell the Company’s products.
   • Product: All items manufactured or marketed by the Company under its brand names. 
2. Warranty Validity
   • The warranty shall be valid for a period of 10 years from the date of manufacture and shall apply only upon presentation of a valid bill/invoice to the Authorized Dealer or Retailer.
3. Scope of Warranty
   • The warranty is applicable solely against manufacturing defects and covers only the replacement of the defective product(s).
   • Refunds are not applicable under this warranty.
   • The Company reserves the right to replace the product or deny warranty claims if the terms and conditions of this warranty are violated or if the products are not used or installed according to the product manuals.
4. Warranty Exclusions
   The extended warranty shall not apply to:
   • All types of valves (e.g., ball valves, non-return valves).
   • All types of unions.
   • All rubber components.
   • Products used in combination with pipes, fittings, solvent cements, or lubricants of other brands.
   • Products used outside their intended applications:
     • Ajay Flowline Plus: Hot and cold domestic water distribution.
     • Ajay Greenline: Cold domestic water distribution.
     • Ajay Drainline and Ajay Terraline: Soil, waste, and rainwater drainage.
   • Failures due to defects in the layout plan or improper installation.
   • Installations where procedures outlined in the product manuals are not followed.
   • Installations where joints are not pressure-tested post-installation.
   • Physical damages caused by mishandling at the site, including but not limited to nails, drilling, chiselling, etc.
   • Failures resulting from the use of incompatible materials, chemical agents, or thread sealants leading to environmental stress cracking or premature system failure.
   • Damages caused by natural calamities or events beyond the control of the Company.
5. Conditions of Warranty
   • The Company shall not be responsible for costs associated with removal or reinstallation of the defective product or any incidental expenses.
   • The Company reserves the right to deny warranty claims if full payment against the invoice is not made within the stipulated period.
6. Limitation of Liability
   • The Company’s liability under this warranty is strictly limited to the replacement of defective products as specified.
   • The Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use the product.
7. Non-Transferability
   • This warranty is issued exclusively to the original owner (the first purchaser) and is not transferable to subsequent owners.
8. Legal Jurisdiction
   • This warranty is issued in New Delhi. All disputes related to or arising from this warranty shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi.
9. Statutory Rights
   • This warranty does not affect or limit the statutory rights of the customer under applicable laws.
