PAN CONNECTORS :
Toilet pan connectors are wide, large diameter pipes that connect the toilet pans with the toilet drain pipes. Toilet pan Connectors are an integral part of toilet plumbing as they are responsible for the flow of human waste from the toilet pans to the toilet drain pipes.
These pipes are of larger diameters because they carry solid human waste, being small in diameter can lead to frequent clogging of the pipes.
TYPES OF TOILET PAN CONNECTORS :
- Flexible pan connector – The connector pipe is made of PVC plastic and is flexible for smooth movement of waste.
- Pan connector for wall hung toilet- Modern toilets are wall mounted, that is why special types of Pan connectors are required in such cases.
- Offset pan connector- A unique shaped rigid pan connector pipe.
- Elbow pan connectors – Rigid pan connector pipes in the shape of elbows.
- S trap Pan Connectors – Pan connector pipes shaped like the alphabet S.
- P trap Pan Connectors – Pan connector pipes shaped like the alphabet P.
Ajay Pipes manufactures PVC plastic Pan connector pipes with rubber ridges fixed at the ends for perfectly leak-proof connection.
PVC BOTTLE TRAP:
All you need to know about Bottle traps is here. PVC bottle traps are fittings connected to the drain pipes under the wash basin sinks. CP bottle traps keep the basins hygienic by not letting the debris block the pipes, meanwhile preventing harmful gases from the sewer pipes from escaping into the surroundings.
PVC bottle traps for kitchen sinks are also crucial as different kinds of food wastes also reach the kitchen sinks. These food items, if stuck in drain pipes, clog the wash basins, and create a very foul smell as time passes. PVC bottle traps are the solution to this very messy problem.
With each use, the bottle traps fill the bottle-like, larger diameter pipe filled with drained water and maintains a water seal. This water refills into the bottle with each use, thus preventing the debris from entering and foul gases from escaping, forming a perfect balance of hygiene.
DRAINAGE NON RETURN VALVE:
Sometimes, especially in the monsoon months, the drains and toilets start to clog and the waste we have flushed out starts to creep back in. This happens when the drainage non return valve fails.
Drainage Non return valves are simple devices that prevent the damage to the infrastructures caused by flooding due to either surface water of faults and leakages in the underground drainage systems.
These valves are made of high grade CPVC plastic and designed according to the European standards by Ajay Pipes.
Use of these valves outside the buildings is crucial to prevent outside drainage faults from sending the waste back inside the building.
Non return valves protect even the power pumped systems by not letting the pumped out waste back in.
Inspection chambers in the drainage system come with a removable lid and are connected to the drain pipes at surface level to allow inspection of the drains pipes. However, these inspection chambers do not allow the entry of a person physically, but inspection can be done using several inspection tools.
Drainage chambers are required wherever there is a turn in the underground drainage system so that, in case of any kind of blockage, it can be removed through the inspection chamber.
Readymade drainage chambers are available in the market and are made of high grade CPVC plastic to provide them strength and durability as well as eliminate the risk of rusting and corrosion.
These chambers for drainage are very crucial in the underground drainage systems as it becomes very difficult to figure out the leakage and blockage otherwise. Drain manholes are chambers that allow entry of humans for physically figuring out the faults and blockages.
DRAIN LINE, & DRAIN TUBE
A. DRAIN LINE :
Long networks of drain connecting either the different drains of a building to the main drainage system of the area or connecting several drainage systems of multiple buildings to one main system are called Drain Lines.
Drain lines consist of different kinds of pipes depending on the amount and type of waste they carry.Drain lines also have vents to prevent the gases from the waste filling up the households or neighbouring areas, these vents are connected to the pipes leading to the roofs of the buildings.
B. DRAIN TUBE :
Several types of Drain pipes or Drain tubes are available in the Indian market as per the requirements, though it proves difficult to know exactly which pipe to buy if one is not a plumbing expert.
